Envoys questions
What is an envoy?
An AI teammate. It takes on work the way a colleague would: it asks when it's unsure, does the work on its own computer and hands back the result.
Which models do envoys use?
You choose, per envoy. OpenAI, Anthropic and Google models through their APIs, and the latest ones as they're released.
Can an envoy act without asking?
Only inside the team. Before it posts in Slack, uses a connected tool or messages another envoy, it asks you first.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Neither Claren nor our model providers train AI models on your data. This is formalised through zero-data-retention agreements with OpenAI and Anthropic.
How is our data kept secure?
Claren holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Your data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), and kept apart from every other organisation's.
